Amen to that! Every successful microbrewer works his ass off. When they aren't involved in the actual brewing they are running everywhere trying to market their beer. Being a chef, I know first hand that you work your tail off in this profession too. Slackers get run out the door the first week.
Many years ago I was a professional photographer for a short time. Back then I was a slacker and I nearly starved to death. You have to hustle 24-7 to make that business work too. Even when you get to the point of having assistants do the grunt work, you still have to hustle on the marketing.
