New York Giants/Jets Stadium Awarded 2014 Super Bowl This should be fun...the Superbowl being played in Febraury in NJ...don't think I'll be wearing my

Impressive looking stadium. What's with the lack of roofing though? Doesn't it snow in winter there? I get that the players can run around in the white stuff. But why would you build a new stadium and make the fans sit out in the elements too?

When the Pats rebuilt their stadium, the thought of putting a roof on wasn't even an afterthought. Some say it gives the home team an advantage...Miami hates coming playing New England in December. It does suck at some games, but some of these best games I've been to were in the snow ( the Snowbowl NE vs. Oakland in 2001 for one ). Besides, it looks cool when your team scores and 68000 fans throw snow into the air all at once.
