There's a group that meets in a local rural town that discusses Bigfoot and organizes expeditions to collect "evidence".
They had a woman call them to investigate Bigfoot activity at her house. They went to the house and the evidence was a torn-up screen door. They suggested to her that maybe it was a bear that did it. She insisted that it could not have been a bear and she was sure of it. When asked her why she was so sure, she said, "Because there ain't no bears around here."
