My Oh My....

It was a sad day in seattle yesterday. Dave Niehaus (the voice of the Seattle Mariners) died of a heart attack. Thirty Three years of living the dream of being the Seattle Mariners announcer.

Condolences brotha. When Skip Caray died I cried like a little girl. We've lost too many good ones lately.

I would hate to be the guy that replaces any of those people. Everyone will say "He doesn't do it as well."

yeah, i can see that... but my prediction is they bring in jay buhner to do it full time with dave sims. buhner was doing it every week on tuesdays i think this year anyways as a guest on the show.

break out the mustard and rye bread...it's a grand salami!!! i believe he's the guy for that tag line...the classic voices are going the way of the do-do...I still miss the aweful voice of Myron Cope...it was aweful but it was ours...It's just one of those things you associate with your team. My condolences.

yup that was him.... didnt hear that one too often. at least he got to see griffey come back and retire. apparently is tombstone is gonna be something like "162 games done, now on to the post season"
