A roman bath house theme where people put on togas when they come in. I know you could offer some great "bar food" cuisine, like venison jerky and deep fried hard boiled eggs on a stick. Once you get people in there and they try your beer, the're hooked! What?
Um, about that.
Another local restaurant closed 3 weeks ago. They opened July 4th weekend. RIP Navin Thai
And another is closing. Looks like it may get bought out. The potential new owners are waiting on a new ordinance in town that would allow the bars to stay open until 2 am to pass. Othewise the deal is off.
It has been talked about, but I dont have the brewing experience yet to be comfortable doing it. I'm just getting back into this, and an expert, I am not.
There are a couple people interested in doing this, but I dont think that it would fly in this neck of the woods. There are only 12 liquor licensed places in town. Of those 12, 2 have Guiness on draft. Thats about as risque as this crowd gets. It is all Morgan Cokes or Mich Goldies around here. There are a few of us in town that enjoy finer beers, but not enough for the local liquor store to justify ordering any more Rogue products. I had to damn near beg to get Bell's 2 hearted in bottles at the bar that I shoot pool league at.
There is one place in town that does offer selection, but they are fucking clueless and I hate to go there. They bartenders wear tuxedo style outfits and have no idea about anything bee- or wine for that matter. I go there sparingly, but we do go. At least the food is decent. Overpriced, but decent.
Here is the beer menu. Not sure how current it is, havent been there for over a month.
