Where is Earth Eagle Brewings, Portsmouth? I might try to check that out soon. We went to Shipyard today, and I'm looking in to hitting up some of the beer week events. Thanks TheDarkSide!

Yes, they are in the downtown area of Portsmouth at 165 High St. (same building as A&G Homebrew). But their next taproom hours are not until Thursday at 4pm.

Oh man! I wish I would have seen this post earlier. I've been away from the computer all weekend. I would have suggested taking a pit stop in Saco Maine for lunch or something on your way up to Portland. There's a brew pub that'll blow your socks off it's so good. It's called The Run of the Mill Public House & Brewery. Their beer is wicked good and the food is out of this world. I haven't been there for about a year and I keep meaning to drop in when I visit my parents but I'm always in too much of a rush.

BeaverBarber wrote:Welcome Ahhchee! That's a tough name in New England. When I was going to school at Tufts, I worked at Modern Homebrew Emporium right there next to Davis Square. I'm sure you've been there. I'm also sure you've been to Red Bones and Sunset Grill many times too...my all time favorite places. I love Bostonians...they're not rude; just honest. I've never been there, but Minnesotans seem great too...some even have Mormon wives who post pics of their tits. Welcome!!

To be honest I've never been to Red Bones, if you suggest it I'll definitely check it out. Sunset Grill is actually a 2 minute walk from my apartment so I'm always there. They have sooo many beers there's no way I can try them all. I'm at the Modern Homebrew Emporium probably twice a week.

That's cool, thanks anyway Archie. This was more of a family trip, so I didn't have too much time for my "beer stuff". We did also tour Portsmouth brewery where I sampled heavily, and I came home with some sours, including a bottle of Cantillion.

It was a great trip, but once again, sorry to hijack your thread. :asshat:

Meh, no worries. Make me look more popular because I have a handful of replies in my thread. :P
