Hi from Fort Collins, CO

Thu Mar 13, 2014 6:53 pm

After seeing all of my friends eyes glaze over 5 minutes into a conversation about beer I thought I'd come here to join like-minded folks. Started brewing about a year ago to try and make my wife a good gluten free beer (that I think even JP would drink), went all grain for my last two batches and then our house flooded (worst part: also got H1N1 flu and my puking was accompanied by 'Wacka, wacka, wacka on her bare behind' playing over and over in my head), hoping to brew again this Friday. In the meantime I've just been soaking up the BN programs that have been happily ruining my life for the last few months.

Cheers,
-dave

Nice little Beer Culture you have there in Fort Collins. Got a personal Tour of New Belgian last summer. Got to try all their beers. Have a new appreciation for them now.

Welcome!
I used to live in Ft Fun.
Great town.Great beer. Too many damn hippies with daddy's credit card though. Not quite as bad as Boulder, yet.
Have you been out there long?

Thanks, I used to live in Hancock, MN near Morris actually, so yeah Ft Fun is amazing in comparison.
Still not Boulder but we tend to avoid the majority of 'em. Summers are great when CSU is out and they all leave.
Been out here about 6 years.

Hah, small world! Grad. 2003
I used to ski at Andes Tower Hills a lot. Then I skied in Colorado and moved pretty quickly after that.
You start brewing in Fort Collins or when you moved to MN?
