Just signed up on the forum, and thought I'd say hi. I'm norwegian, and I live just outside Oslo. I've been brewing for four years, all grain all the way. I started brewing on some random equipment I managed to scrape together, and the first batch was a disaster. But the second brew day went a lot better, and I ended up with a nice beer, completly out of any style guide. After a few more batches I bougth an old system of a homebrewer, which included a cooler mash tun, a 50 liter aluminium kettle and a 2kV single plate stove. It worked great, and I brewed some 40 batches on it. Last summer I bougth the Speidel Braumeister 20 liter, which has really been a nice investment. So far I have brewed over 30 batches on it, with great result.
I've been listening to the BN shows for a year now, and I have learned and laughed a lot whilst walking the dog.
