Hello from Nebraska

hey all

Been brewing extract for a little over a year and listening to the BN for about the same. I've learned a ton from you guys and I thank you for your efforts.

I've done some DIYing and upgrading from the standard kit and have moved into kegging. My next move is a ferm chamber, then making the switch to all-grain.

Cheers!!

Welcome! A kegging system and a fermentation chamber are some of the best improvements you can make. Sounds like you're on the right track.

Welcome.

A fermentation chamber will improve your beer tremendously. Since you are still doing extract, are you doing full volume boils?

I've done 10 five gallon batches since I started about a year ago and all have been full volume boils. I also built a diy stir plate fairly early on in the process after listening to a Brew Strong yeast podcast and have done yeast starters on almost all batches. I'll call the ferm chamber my next largish purchase and that puts my next planned smallish purchase is an oxygenation system. Will go with a flow meter and stainless diffusinon stone.
