Hello from Sunny San Diego!

I have been brewing since 1997 and was an avid brewer till 2001 when moving to a small condo left me without an attached garage!
Now I finally moved into a house and have my garage setup to full effect. I am an all grain brewer and believe in doing almost everything myself. My entire garage is dedicated to brewing.
I crush my own grain and even occassionaly roast my own specialty grains. I also culture yeast. I took a 3 year hiatus from brewing but have been back my old ways for the last 6 months or so! So the 3-tap kegerator is setup again and my carboys are ready for precious wort to ferment. I have won a few awards at the San Diego County Fair (used to be Del Mar Fair) and even took sweepstakes in 2000 with a Strong Scottch Ale (Wee Heavy) I beat out 700+ beers as the absolute best! What a year that was!
I am very interested in the science of beer and hope to be a contributing member to this great network of brewing knowledge!
