Basic Brewing had a mead guy on that mixed a wine kit with honey to make an easy
pyment. I'm sure you could do it I just don't know if it would taste that good in the end. Then there's the issue of the wine yeast taking over the ale yeast possibly. I might brew them separately and then just blend them in the end that way you could just blend a few pints and not waste both batches if it didn't taste good.
