Re: cooling lager to 44F

I am about to try my first lager, and I picked up a $6 drill-powered pump from lowes. I can use this to recirculate ice water through my wort chiller, after the hose water has gotten it as far down as it can. This should allow me to get it down to cold pitching temps.
