Ran into the same thing myself, planned on brewing a brown porter Friday, needing Nottingham and NB was out. Ordered both US-05 and Safale-04, will probably go with the 04 if I brew that recipe. Ordered enough stuff I could brew somethig else and wait until NB gets it back in.

I was curious about this as well. I just brewed 10 gallons of Blonde Ale on Saturday and split it into 2 carboys. Pitched Nottingham into one and 05 into the other. The Blonde should be light enough to be able to see if there's a difference between the two.
