WLP002 and Mild, recommended fermentation temp.

I'm making a mild and using WLP002 for the first time (I've usually used the Wyeast Scottish Ale strain). I was hoping to get some esters, but not to the extent of Jolly Rancher territory. Any suggestions on fermentation temperature? If it helps, I use the t-shirt , water-bath and frozen bottle method of cooling, as I've not yet convinced SWMBO we need a third fridge in the house. Thanks!

65-67 degrees works well for that yeast. Make sure your pitching rate is good and I'd also advise giving the yeast a few days after primary to mop up any unwanted metabolites, such as diacetyl.

I did one a month ago at 68 with that yeast, came out real nice.
