DR. Homebrew Carmel Apple Winter ale

5lbs pale malt maris otter
4 lbs german munich
1 lbs c-20
1lbs c-60
1 lbs - flaked rye
.50lbs - LME
.50lbs - cain sugar

hops
.75oz cascade - 60 min
.5 oz willamette - 15 min

other
4 cups apple cider
3 apples cut into small peices
3 cinnomon sticks
4 oz vodka to make tincher with cinommon

yeast wlp 011 european ale

mash at 154 for 60 min
recurculate till clear then pull off 1 gallon of wort and boil down to about half and add to the boil kettle with the rest of the wort
make a caramel out of the LME and sugar then add to the boil 10 min befor the end
og 1.054
fg 1.020
avb 4.5%
18 ibus
on tap - saison
belgian dubble

fermenting -cherry IPA

planning - german pils

sorry i forgot to add that the cider and apple go into the secondary and the vodka mix goes in at bottling to taste
