Over on the Brewboard, http://www.brewboard.com/ there have been a couple threads on how to build an adapter to push beer with a paintball cartridge. There are also a couple of rather pricey commercial units available.
My thought is that this would be an awfully expensive way to carbonate a keg. On the other hand, it would be a great way for pushing beer in a portable unit.
