I have a bit of a problem with using the beer gun I got for christmas. It seems like when I use it and fill a bottle, the co2 level in the bottle is not high enough. I comes out with almost no head, and you can't even hear the little co2 pop when opening the bottle. But the beer from the keg is fine and no problems. When I use the gun I purge the bottle at about 6psi to get rid of oxygen. I pull the relief valve on the keg so they are the same pressure. I leave it at that pressure to fill it, and then very quick cap it. I also do have the beer gun, bottles, keg, and tubing cold to minimize the foaming. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do

Hi Deutsches, let's clarify something: how much time is elapsing between filling and tasting? And are we talking carbonation, head or foam?

You say "it comes out with almost no head", but that it is right in the keg. What if you fill a glass from the gun? I am assuming its carbonation would be as you intended, but with no head due to the low pressure fill of the gun.

Finally, if your carbonation IS as intended going into the bottle then the only way the co2 could escape is... well... to escape. That means review your capping proceedure I guess.
