Which is better, bottle conditioned VS force carbonating?
Good morning all. Type of beer aside, is there a difference in how long I can keep a bottle conditioned vs. force carbonated bottle of beer.
There are two reasons I wanted to know, first is the situation where I have 1 or 2 G left in the keg of a beer that is not as popular, a Porter in this case. So I’m thinking of bottling it with a beer gun, will this last longer than a month or so?
The second situation is when I have a 10G batch, I’ll want to bottle 5 and Keg 5. I’m thinking for ease Id keg both and then beer gun the 5 into bottles. Here there is the choice to prime and bottle if it would have and effect on the length the beer will stay good in the bottle.
Thanks
