Any one able to fit a corny,a pony keg and CO2 bottle in their freezer/kegerator? If so what size freezer and model do you have?

I have a 7 cu. ft. Magic Chef chest freezer that can fit 4 corny kegs, a 5lb. CO2 tank (although I don't store it there) and room for glassware and hops cold storage.

I suggest you cut out a bunch of cardboard circles the same size as the maximum diameter of the items you want to stick in there. Take them to the store with you and just deal them out into the bottom of the freezer you are looking at. You will know instantly whether it is the right size. Wish I had done this when I bought my freezer. I am about 2" shy of being able to fit 2 more kegs in my freezer. :(

Most newer chest freezers have a "shelf" where the compressor is. This shelf can hold 5lb CO2 bottle.

A Pony Keg is about 17" in Diameter, and a corny is 9" in diameter (see http://www.micromatic.com/beer-questions/sizes-keg-draft-beer-available-aid-11.html). That won't fit in a 7cuft chest freezer, unless you build on to the shelf and store the CO2 tank on it's side underneath it, but I don't recommend it. Check out Thirsty's Keggerator thread. He built a nice collar that will allow you more room in the chest freezer as well as an easy way to route the CO2 lines into it and keep the tank outside, not to mention front mount taps which are MUCH more convenient, and cleaner than top mount (ask me how I know... I've been DYING to say that!). I'd recommend you go to the store and take a tape measure with you to find the best model for you though.

Here is the link to that thread: http://thebrewingnetwork.com/forum/vie ... php?t=4149

The only change I have made since is to have longer beer lines to balance the pressure.

Thanks for the tips guys. I looked at the link Speyedr posted. The 1/6th barrel sounds like the way to go for commercial brew. I checked with the local liquior store and they can get them. :D Now Its time so start gathering parts to build.
