22 oz. brown bomber bottle. Capped off with a gold colored plastic wax dip. Weak pfftt when opened. Not carbonated enough for the style they were shooting for. CO² wasn’t present in the beer after it was poured either. Poured out an orangish / amber color, with a minimal haed. The beer was the exact same color as filtered apple cider. The head was an orangish color, and it only left a minimal amount of foam around the rim of the glass. Aromas are of candi sugar, slight bubblegum, oak barrels, pipe tobacco, but no alcohol aromas, surprizingly enough. Tastes are of sugar mostly. Some caramel and slight yeastiness to it, but not much more. No hops aromas or flavors. Alcohol is present in the tastes as it’s swallowed. Sort of burns the back of your throat. Warming to the stomach as well. Medium mouthfeel, dry and astringent also. Finishes too dry for my liking, and for the style as well. Not the best take on a Belgian triple I’ve ever had, that much is certain.
