Anyone else have this yet? I'm having one now and its really carbonated. Doesn't have an overwhelming taste of pumpkin which is nice.

not my favorite pumpkin beer at all. I'll take an Elysian Night Owl, Elysian Great Pumpkin, or Shipyard Pumpkinhead over a DFH any day.

I have one of the Elysian's in the fridge. Not sure if its the Night Owl or Great Pumpkin.

funny how peoples tastes are different. ive had all of these this week ( going to brew one soon so i have to sample) DFH's has been my favorite though i wish it had a touch of the vanilla that elysian has. im thinking of brewing Bugeaters cookie ale but with pumpkin pie spice.

I'm typically not a fan of the DFH Punkin, but this year's batch is better than last. Now... if you get the chance you should have it on cask. My wife and I were at the brewpub in Rehoboth last weekend and the Punkin on cask was fucking good!

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't care for it last year, but tried again this year and it was pretty good. Wish I was closer to DE, but then I'd be broke for sure.

I've had this a few times and each year, just not a fan. Best pumpkin beers I've had, hands down, are Southern Tier Pumpking and Brooklyn Post Road.

+1 Disco! Both great beers. Although I feel like this years Pumking was a bit different from last years recipe. If a brewery makes a pumpkin beer, there had better be some pumpkin in there! Tapped my pumpkin beer this weekend and it came out great! I feel that the pumpkin contributes an interesting texture/flavor to the beer that just wouldn't be had with only spices.
