My ode de Jamil Fermentation room.

Sun Aug 16, 2009 3:24 pm

So, my wife got fed up with the multiple carboys and cases of beer in our guest bedroom. So, I was allowed to wall off a section of my garage to build my ode de Jamil.

Jan Wolfhouse: So yeah, I heard you got fired from the brewery?

Landfill: [Landfill gets mad, throws his trophy] God damn brewery! You know that brewery makes 10,000 bottles of beer a day. I drink 45 of them, and I'm the asshole!

WTF is the tree doing in the cooled space? And what's with the Bud Light, and MGD pitcher?

Christmass tree is there because I don't need the space yet. I just haven't moved it. When I get more beer I'll take it out and put it in the attic. I just laugh at having a cold christmass tree when it's been in the high 90s here.

MGD Pitchers are actually very useful. They came from a tailgate party in downtown Orlando. It was an outdoor event sponsered by Miller. It was mega-swill or nothing, and you cant play beer pong with nothing. I got 11 of those pitchers from the event and they hold about 1/3 of a gallon. I use several of them every time I brew.

The budlight boxes. I have no idea. I think they came from a homebrew competition. I usually hang around after the judging and stockpile on boxes, bottles, and six pack holders.

So the wife kicked you out of the house and then "allowed" you to use part of the garage? Well, at least you did a nice job on the cold room, Nancy. :P
