I've noticed that when I put in in the bottle, it releases the beer in the tube at such a high velocity that the beer going into each bottle has bubbles on top as if it's splashing into the bottle. You can also hear the gushing sound of the beer entering the bottle for the first half of the fill. I've always heard that you should try to avoid splashing or stiring up the beer too much when bottling or kegging?
Is this going to provide any off flavors in the long run? If so, how can I fill bottles more quietly or more gently? How do you avoid oxygen in bottles?
Thanks for your time.
