Moose Drool Clone vs. Janet's Brown Ale

Wed Sep 29, 2010 2:39 pm

Going to brew one or the other this weekend - thoughts?

Never tasted either...

Have an IPA, Amber, and Wet Hopped Amber on tap right now.

Do yourself a favor then and brew the JBA. Moose Drool is great, but you can find many similar commercial examples that are equally tasty. There's very little out there in the same vein as JBA.

How would you describe JBA?

My vote is for Janet's. You do have a bunch of hoppy goodness on tap already, so Moose Drool may add a little more variety to your tower but I say drink up some of that old hoppy beer and brew some new hoppy beer!

Delicious! :D

Really though, it's going to be hoppier than Moose Drool, and a little bigger. It's a beer worth brewing at some point, so why not now?

Sounds good - I'll give it a whirl. LOVED Tasty's Pale Ale - sounds like this won't disappoint either.
