Here in Washington the Attorney General is trying to ban Alcoholic Energy Drinks, does not seem to affect beer.

This same thing happened when bars started mixing red bull and vodka and local legislators wanted to ban red bull in bars. The problem with the caffeine and booze is that the kids get all hopped up on the energy drink part and don't notice how drunk the are until they finally crash down.
