Hola! From Clearwater, FL

Hello brewers!

Greetings everyone. A little background about myself. I am a partial boil extract brewer, for 6 months now. I have about 7 batches under my belt at this point. I am reading anything and everything I can get my hands on. I recently am looking to expand what I do, and are interested in going PM, as well as full boil and finally to making the jump to AG.

I look forward to interacting with you all and learning more new thing!

Especially big shout out to all the FL brewers!

Welcome!

Seems like the normal progression people take, but I skipped partial mash. Go ahead and do it if you want (to at least say you've done it), but when you go all grain, you'll wonder why you waited so long.

Once you start full wort boils, you are almost an all-grain brewer. Check out Denny Conn's cheap mash tun. It's what I use and only cost about $30.

Welcome!!!

Loving to see the influx of FL BNers. Have you gotten connected with Pinellas Urban Brewers (PUB guild)? Great club and one of the founding members just started a brewery called Rapp Brewing and they are doing some awesome things. Ratebeer called them the best new brewery in FL. They host many of the meetings and at Rapp.

You planning to do any TB beer week things especailly Hunahpu day?

Nice link on the cooler build. Thanks. I bookmarked that one.

I do know of the PUB guild, and have attended a brew day just as a spectator a few months ago. I have yet to take the plunge and join, but I know it is something I would like to do soon.

I have yet to check out Rapp's though. I want to soon.

Tampa Bay Beer Week is gonna be jammed pack, and yes I do plan on attending as much as I can on my days off work.

Gonna be a beer filled week for sure!

Welcome! Just listened to the archive Cigar City podcast. Love their beer and hope you get to drink a lot of it.
