Wow, that is a lot of StarSan. Is there a pH target that you're trying to hit by doing this? Do you buy it in bulk? That's $8 worth where I shop.

I buy the big bottles (quart?). Since I'm well rinsed before I use it it stays good virtually forever. I keep 4 colored buckets next to the brew stand, 2 for PBW, 2 for acid (convenient how Lowe's does blue & HD does orange). By pre-rinsing most of the gunk out I can keep the PBW batch going for 6ish months with occasional recharging. The only reason I dumped the acid was because I was moving & building a new brewery at the new house so I knew I wasn't going to be brewing for a few months. It worked out perfectly - the PBW was getting pretty rank at the same time so I just mixed the 2 to neutralize them & dumped them all at once. I only keep 10 gallons of each because 5 gallons barely comes up to the spigot in my MLT where I pre-heat & I'd be sucking air by the time the lines/pump got filled. On a 'normal' sized system a bucket of each would be more than plenty.
