Anyone tried the 2.5g cornies?

b^3 sells a 2.5g Cornie keg system. I'm thinking that I can fit this into my existing fridge and that since I usually brew with my neighbor, he could get one too. I also want to avoid the fridge tax (cost of electricity for running a junker 20 year old fridge is fairly high).

Has anyone else used one of these smaller cornies?

I have several 3 gallon cornys and one 2.5 gallon. They are great if you brew 5 gallon batches. I've moved up to 10 gallon batches and now only use the small cornys for cider and mead.

I have a couple 2.5 gallon cornies. They are excellent for taking beer to parties, poker games, club meetings etc. where you don't wan't your buddies drinking up your entire batch!

I bought 2 of em from B3 . I use them and i love them. When I need room i transfer whats left in a 5 gal keg into my 3 and I have a little room for a few 6 packs.
I got lucky and got em on sale at B3 for under $40.00. One of my best deals.

If anyone has moved up from 2.5g to a larger cornie, let me know, I will buy your old cornie.
